Dns proxy doesn't work for my domain and subdomain

Hello community.

I have a little problem with cloudflare,

Dns Proxy doesn’t work for me, when i enable proxy feature in cloudflare i continue see the destination ip address. What should i do to hide ip adresses?

Your question is not very clear. What is the full URL?

I want process all my request by Cloudflare and hide destination ip but receive this result

as: ~ $ host test.dev.example.com
test.dev.example.com has address 100.243.145.8

instead Cloudflare ip address

first one
test.dev.intent.ai
second one
zibil.intent.ai

That domain does not point to Cloudflare in the first place. You will first need to configure it properly.

Sandro, can you please explain how this one work? Because it main zone hosted in aws.

api.picsart.com is an alias for api.picsart.com.cdn.cloudflare.net.
api.picsart.com.cdn.cloudflare.net has address 104.18.12.222
api.picsart.com.cdn.cloudflare.net has address 104.18.13.222
api.picsart.com.cdn.cloudflare.net has IPv6 address 2606:4700::6812:dde
api.picsart.com.cdn.cloudflare.net has IPv6 address 2606:4700::6812:cde

why firs one work, second one not?
zibil.intent.ai is an alias for zibil.intent.ai.cdn.cloudflare.net.
zibil.intent.ai.cdn.cloudflare.net has address 35.196.183.110

Are you on a partner setup?

No, first from my old work place, second from new. Both account is paid.

So a CNAME setup? Business or Enterprise plan?

First enterprise, second pro.

picsart.com is on Enterprise? And intent.ai on Pro? On Pro you shouldnt be able to have a CNAME setup.

Ok, thx, this CNAME setup case is ok, but what about test.dev.intent.ai i don’t want migrate my domain to cloudflare, currently i need only subdomain, what should i do in this case. Because it turns out that I pay only for dns and proxy which i need doesn’t work.

Can we please clarify the CNAME setup?

Your intent.ai setup does not look alright, as it does not point to Cloudflare but has its nameservers point to Google. You’d first need to fix that.

intent.ai main zone hosted in google, and currenty i’m not able to migrate it to the cloudflare.

i’m understand CNAME will not work with pro account i need enterprise for this, thats ok. Now i need understand what i should do for dev.intent.ai subdomain which already pointed to the cloudflare.

As long as the domain is not properly configured it wont really work.

Also, even if you configure it you will need a dedicated certificate as the hostname you mentioned is one level too deep to work on HTTPS.

First thing, fix the DNS setup.

Thank you Sandro.

but this really really bad, why i need migrate whole my domain if i need only one subdomain which already configured.

If you dont want to do that you will need to sign up for a Business or Enterprise plan. On the lower plans you need to set the nameservers.

Thank you, now all is clear.
