I’ve setup a test domain and configured Cloudflare correctly to test how things work. My issue is that the orange cloud goes back to gray every about 24h. I can’t explain why. I’m not changing it myself and no one else has access to it.
Is there a time limit on proxied domains for free accounts? I’m not seeing any mention of it anywhere.
Is there a minimum of traffic that must come through CF to keep the proxy on?
Any information or clue would be appreciated. Thanks.

No to both of these, no such limitations.
If you log into Cloudflare and on the account home page (where you see your domains listed, click ‘Audit Log’
You should see the change listed there along with where it originated from. Have you connected any service to Cloudflare like a plugin? You could also try changing your API key if that could be the case.

I do have an automated process to update the IP. Sure enough, the audit logs you pointed me to show that the update removes the proxied status.
