DNS on CPANEL

Hey guys, I’m having the following issue, recently I bought a domain at Cloudflare and I’m planning on using it on a CPANEL, how can I setup my domain that’s hosted by Cloudflare and use it in a website at cpanel and also with Cloudflare ssl

Greetigns,

Thank you for asking.

You’d have to add the DNS records to the DNS tab of Cloudflare dashboard for your domain name.

You can find the existing ones at your cPanel interface → Zone Editor → click on “Manage” button next to your domain name.

There you’d see the list of DNS records and for each one of them you’d see hostname, TTL, Type, and value.

Don’t worry if you don’t see the same at first, like missing dot . at the end (Cloudflare strips that out in the interface, while cPanel keep it).

Make sure using the step-by-step instructions from the tutorial below add the missing ones and double-check and edit existing ones, if so.

Regarding the SSL setup, cPanel should provide and generate one for your domain name(s) using the AutoSSL feature.

Here is a way to re-check if you correctly setup the SSL for your domain with Cloudflare:
