DNS Not Updating for 3 Domains

N/A

What is the error message?

Invalid nameservers

What is the issue you’re encountering

They just won’t show as updated on my Cloudflare dashboard

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have added the correct Cloudflare DNS entries to these domains and deleted my old host DNS entries. I can also see the DNS entries have fully propagated when I visit https://www.whatsmydns.net

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS not responding/updating

For all 3 you have added NS records to your existing DNS, that is not the correct thing to do…

Instead you need to change the authoritative nameservers at your registrar from the 2 thundercloud.uk ones to the 2 allocated Cloudflare nameservers.

Well that’s weird, I do not see thundercloud.uk in my DNS settings when I log in and I remember deleting them. The only entries I see are fro Cloudflare.

You need to make the change at your domain registrar, not in your DNS.

My host is also my registrar. I’ve contacted them to explain the issue and they are going to do it manually their end. Thanks for your help.
