DNS nameservers are not updating even though they were changed on Squarespace

Nameservers are not updating after multiple weeks

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Checking whois I get
Name Server: ns1.loopiagroup.com
Name Server: ns2.loopiagroup.com
for the nameservers after updating them on squarespace (screenshot attached).

I talked with squarespace support and they told me to reach out to cloudflare as the nameservers are set correctly on their side. It’s been a few weeks and cloudflare still isn’t recognizing the nameserver change.

I don’t know why they would say that. If you have set the nameservers in their dashboard, but they are not being reflected in the WHOIS and .com root servers, then that is a problem for them to solve. Cloudflare can’t force their nameservers to be used for your domain.

The registrar doesn’t seem to be Squarespace though, although I guess they could be using a reseller or acquired someone…
