This domain is managed by a saas company that uses aws and has it’s own nameservers. Is there any cheap way to add the nameservers and not use cloudflares nameservers for this domain as their site is broken.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
None
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
The service requires use of there nameservers and need to not use cloudflares name servers. The business plan seems to be only way to set custom name servers. I did manage to set NS records on the DNS. Problem is that the cloudflare name servers are still be used. If I use full ssl I get The origin web server does not have a valid SSL certificate. I can turn of proxy on A records, but that does not work either.
No, the business plan does not allow you to use other nameservers. It only allows you to use a different name (your own domain) for the Cloudflare nameservers.
For a domain registered via Cloudflare, you can only create NS records for subdomains. So you can use a subdomain if the SaaS provider supports that, and then redirect your apex domain to that subdomain on Cloudflare.
The alternative is that you transfer your domain from Cloudflare to a different registrar.
