DNS Name server pending

HI all,

I’m currently stuck in a middle of a loop of support tickets and getting no where.

I anm trying to migrate my domain to cloudlare but it never leaves the pending name server status.

I have updated the name server on the domain on GoDaddy and they advised that the name servers are set and they cant support any further as the domain is now managed by cloudflare.
I even went to the effort to re add the name servers cloudflare provided. No joy.

DigitialOcean (Who im moving away from) have advised that the domain is no longer pointing to thier DNS servers anymore and cannt support.

I have also tried getting a support ticket opened with cloudflare and still and the only form of support i got was a email advising that the name servers need to point to cloudflare. Which it is!!!

Can anyone advise what i can do next to get closer to a resolution?

So i completed the check.
And it looks like Yes the NS servers are pointing to cloudflare.

The help pages mentioned on the test i have already vread through and still pending in cloudflare.

One thing i did notice was that there is nothing found, I did import the domain DNS recrods from digitialocean and theey appear to be find in the cloudflare side of things. (Even though a lot of reecords are now out of date.)

The check is telling you “We have detected that the name servers set at the registrar may not match those in your Cloudflare dashboard

Check the 2 nameservers given at the bottom of your DNS page match what you have set at the registrar.

AAfter going back in to check the name servers. I noticed that the name server i was initally given has been changed from

to

Would of been nice to be informed the name servers have changed. Hopefully this is a simple fix afterall.

They don’t change by themselves. If you delete then re-add a domain to Cloudflare, they will be changed. Also if you set the nameservers at the registrar before adding the domain to the account they will be changed.

While pending, the required nameservers are shown on the overview page.

The domain was deleted by cloudflare when i first tried to add it. Hense name server were set before i tried re adding.

However i will confess i didn’t notice that the NS names weree changedwhen i re added it to cloudflare. BIw i have updated the entry everything is working now.

Thanks for the help.
