Wonder if there is some “default” e.g. parking page or redirection setup configured on the interface of the domain registarar
Are those .live TLD domains using Cloudflare nameservers?
Were those .live TLD domains registered within the Cloudflare Registrar or Transfered to Cloudflare Registrar lately?
aerfguygraeuyfg.live as an example from the screenshot seems to be not registered one.
Unfortunately, I have no list of registered .live TLD domains, therefrom cannot test further. Could you be able to provide few?
Yes, it is quite certain something is wrong on the registrar-level.
That random string is not registered of course.
I found this issue when by chance I keyed in a subdomain for a domain I have, into the browser.
This sub-domain isnt configured.
I started trying random string sub-domains on my server and saw the same behaviour.
Then I started trying random string root domains and saw the same thing happening.
That is when I thought that this needs to be reported.
I am unable to duplicate this. Most likely, you are using a DNS resolver that behaves badly and returns their own answer for any nonexistent query results. I expect that if you switch your resolver to 1.1.1.1, you will no longer receive the bogus answers.
