DNS lookup shows cloudflase ns but I host my site elsewhere

Purchased the domain name via cloudflare. Added the domain to Linode and copied all DNS recoreds to cloudflase and all is how it should be- Proxied.

Installed a control panel on my linux linode server, and tried to add mail server. Mail server errors out showing the cloudflare ns IP. I have all my dns settings point to my linode instance. mx record shows dns only for mail.xxxx.com
I run network tools to get the IP and it shows the cloudflare IP and not the IP of my server that is hosting my domain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Typo- Cloudflare*

Make sure any mail-related subdomains (such as mail, mx, smtp, imap, etc) are set to “DNS only” and not “Proxied”).

Otherwise what is the domain?
