DNS lookup always return cloudflare's ip

Hi team,

I just purchased a new domain and added one A record in my dns setup through the console.

When i use the command dnslookup, it gives me a 2 couldflare ips which is different than the ip i put into my dns record.

  1. i’m curious why it always has coudflare ips and how does it work to route my traffic to my A Record ip ?
  2. In my application(java), i need to verify a specific a record ip or a custom Cname record exist in the domain’s dns setup. How do i keep my existing verification logic it if it always has cloudflare’s ip in it ?

Please have a look at this:

You can change records from Proxied to DNS-Only if you don’t want to use the proxy.
