We’d really appreciate you to make it “faster”. I do really want to utilize the DNS - but the ping issue and failure in resolving some domains made me revert my settings.

Thanks for the feedback!

#3

@ankushdas9 Would you please retry and share the result?

#4

Sure, Here are the results when I tried it again: (Improved but still not better than Google’s DNS - but manageable)

Also, I’m having trouble resolving some domains. That needs to be fixed as well. For example: sxhssatyanagar.in (does not resolve).

#5

it looks like something wrong with sxhssatyanagar.in itself.
I can’t lookup ns record with other resolvers like Google, Quad9. But it works for opendns

 dig @8.8.8.8 sxhssatyanagar.in ns +short
 dig @1.1.1.1 sxhssatyanagar.in ns +short
 dig @208.67.222.222 sxhssatyanagar.in ns +short
ns12.domaincontrol.com.
ns11.domaincontrol.com.
 dig @9.9.9.9 sxhssatyanagar.in ns +short

Okay. Noted. But, what about the ping improvements?

I mean, yeah, it’s almost there. But, 1.1.1.1 claimed to be faster than Google’s Open DNS (technically it isn’t - in my case). So, should we expect more improvements for my location?

#7

Can you share which part of India are you staying? We are working on more deployments in India but unfortunately it is going to take some time.

#8

My state is Odisha & the city is Bhubaneswar.

Okay, will wait for it. Thanks in advance!
