DNS Issue: Cannot create a non-glue record that is beneath a delegated child zone. (Code: 89018)

Hello,
The platform systemio is asking me to enter the following DNS parameter in Cloudflare:
CNAM …
But I got the following error message:
Cannot create a non-glue record that is beneath a delegated child zone. (Code: 89018)
Could you please help ?
(I’ve seen a similar question in the community but the answer was kind of Chinese for me…)
Thanks a lot in advance
Alain

It sounds like you have an NS record to delegate away a subdomain, but are trying to also add a CNAME record for that subdomain. Is that correct?

Thanks a lot for your prompt answer.
This is a bit too technical for me.
I see 2 NS entries
_domainkey and then a name server at infomaniak
_domainkey and then another name server at infomaniak
Do you think that this could cause the problem ?

If those _domainkey DNS records are your NS entries, that doesn’t look right. Why did you add those NS records?

Thanks for your support.
My domain is at Infomaniak but the DNS is managed by Cloudflare. I have contacted Infomaniak and they confirm that the NS entries
ns31 infomaniak com and ns32 infomaniak com are needed.
I cannot delete them. Any idea on how to move forward ?
I have contacted the sendgrid support and they told me to contact Cloudflare support…

Talked to the Infomaniak support again.
That was another guy and he told me to delete the NS entries in Cloudflare.
That seems to work now.
Will do more testing to be sure
Thanks again
