What feature, service or problem is this related to?
I don’t know
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
The server is in Vienna and DNS should also be Vienna, but it defines it as the Netherlands. The rest as Germany. Changing the IP is not an option. I would like to make it so that DNS goes only through Vienna
The IP address may resolve to show they are registered in the Netherlands, but that doesn’t mean traffic isn’t being served from there. Take a look here to see why the Cloudflare datacenter you are routed towards isn’t always the closest geographically: https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/learning/cdn/glossary/anycast-network/
Hi, interesting information, I didn’t know about it. But I still need DNS either in Frankfurt or Vienna. Because through the Netherlands the ping is a bit too high. So it is impossible to change this so that DNS goes through another one?
