DNS for my site just stopped?

I moved a domain (junkinthefrunk.com) over to Cloudflare a few months ago. I use the domain to point at sites internal to my network, ACME DNS challenges, etc. It’s been working perfectly this whole time.

Today, I try to go to test.junkinthefrunk.com and nobody’s ever heard of it. I use various nslookup/whois type tools outside my network and my domain is just gone.

If I point nslookup at michelle.ns.cloudflare.com, I get:

|junkinthefrunk.com|IN|HINFO||CPU:|RFC8482|
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| --- | --- |
|OS:|||3600s|(01:00:00)|
||

The domain sits with Cloudflare and paid up until 2025. The DNS record page doesn’t look any different. There’s a big green Active button.

What happened? How do I get it back?

Weird. So I deleted all of my A records and added them back (the same as they were). Now 8.8.8.8 reports an address where it didn’t before.

Sorry that this happened, I do see it things looking good on the NS records and the A record now though.
