Cloudflare DNS list has icon that says the certificate is missing.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

look at DNS records list. Contacted mailgun show says it’s a Cloudflare issue.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Looked at DNS record and all but this one are verified. I contacted mailgun, who asked to have this record added, and they said it’s a Cloudflare issue. But the record is added per mailgun docs.

You’ll need to set the DNS record to “DNS only” for Mailgun to verify it.

The warning is because it is a second level subdomain and Cloudflare’s Universal SSL will only cover for the domain and first-level subdomains (example.com and *.example.com). If you do want to use second-level subdomains with the Cloudflare proxy you need the Advanced Certificate Manager…
