DNS being proxied, but IP is not on anycast IP list

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

Hey everyone. I’m a beginner in both cloud/DNS services and I’m just trying to learn more about the subject. So, I have a local app which I exposed to the internet through a cloudflare tunnel, alonsgside with a domain name I bought these days. My DNS Records are only CNAMEs, including the root domain, pointing to the cloudflare tunnel address (.cfargotunnel.com), and these records are being proxied. From what I’ve read (Proxy status · Cloudflare DNS docs), this means that the DNS server resolves my hostname to one of Cloudflare’s Anycast IPs before reaching the desired host (which in this case, is the tunnel hostname). Thing is, when I perform a DNS lookup, the IP address I get is not on the list of cloudflare’s anycast IPs. So there is this bottleneck to my fully understanding of the whole process here… Where is my DNS server pointing my hostname to, if not an anycast ip, considering that it is being proxied? I have attached a screenshot of a DNS lookup on my hostname. Thanks!

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

Cloudflare anycast ips list: IP Ranges

The IP addresses you have shown in your screenshot are in that list. I expand them out here if it helps…
