I have no idea what to do in the DNS and server sections, I am not a developer so don’t understand the lingo. Where do I get the CNAME from? How do I know what servers to redirect what to?
The information for your DNS records should come from your host/provider. If you had everything working before using Cloudflare, you should be able to check the records at your old DNS provider and copy them over. If it’s a new setup, each service you configure should tell you what records you need to add.

I contacted my hosting company and they advised the following:
“As discussed, unfortunately we don’t offer any CDN services.
If we update the nameservers then your emails and current website will go down and we would need to send you the DNS to add on Cloudflare for your emails.
Your domain has a valid SSL certificate, perhaps ask Samcart (or Cloudflare?) to send you the CNAME they want to add and we can assist in adding it.”
Please advise.

I can’t change the dns settings because then my website and emails go down

I’m really not clear what the problem is here. If you want to use Cloudflare, you have to change the nameservers and add all the required DNS records here.
If you want to use your host’s DNS, you ant use Cloudflare unless they have a Cloudflare integration.
I explained what the problem is – my website will no longer be available and my emails won’t work if I change the DNS settings to Cloudflare. I am happy with my service provider.

I get it, I have to use the samcart URL because I can’t use Cloudflre which means I cannot advertise my product on Facebook. I get it, no need to respond
