DNS A record fails to point to the right server

What is the name of the domain?

melisa-vital.si

What is the error number?

404

What is the error message?

page not found

What is the isssue you’re encountering

The domain name was purchased on a local DNS registrar (Domenca.si), and its nameservers were updated to that of cloudflare (attached image melisa-vital.si), now adding a “A record” and pointing it to a server where a service is running yields 404 not found error. Is this related to DNS or is it related to the application and server?

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Updated nameservers on the original registrar’s website and added an A record for the server where the application is being hosted. I am attaching censored images of these configurations.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I am using Dokploy as my self-hosted PaaS on a server which I am trying to set up the a sub-domain to access the admin panel. The panel looks like the one attached (Server Domain), where it. automatically generates a SSL certificate for the domain, looking at traefik logs (traffic manager) no error or complaint about the domain is displayed.

Screenshot of the error

I went to DNS Propagation Checker - Global DNS Testing Tool and verified that the domain has the correct name servers which might indicate that the problem is in my PaaS application, where configuration might not be set up correctly.

The 404 message comes from your origin service, so any problem is there.
