DKIM Verification For Google Email

I have a google email address with my carelana.com domain. I want to do DKIM verification. I created a TXT record in Cloudflare with the DNS Host name and the TXT record value provided by Google. Email authentication can’t be verified after waiting 48 hours. I’ve tried with 1024 and 2048 DKIM key bit length. I called Google to troubleshoot for 1 hour. They said it seems to be a Cloudflare issue and asked me to contact Cloudflare support. Can someone assist?

There is a DKIM record (with the selector google) for your domain. Check it matches the value provided by Google.

Note that you also have a wildcard DNS record and as you haven’t entered a _dmarc TXT record, it is returning your hosting CNAME. You may want to remove the wildcard or enter a DMARC record so it is valid.

I have a Google email address with my carelana.com domain and I want to do DKIM verification for that email address.

I created a TXT record in Cloudflare following the instructions provided by Google. However, email authentication can’t be verified after waiting 48 hours.

I’ve tried with 1024 and 2048 DKIM key bit length. I also called Google to troubleshoot for 1 hour and they said it seems to be a Cloudflare issue. I posted the issue in this community about a week ago and the solution provided was too technical for me to understand and implement on my own.

How can I get phone support from someone to walk me through troubleshooting this as I’m technically challenged? :frowning:

Previous thread here.

As I mentioned when you posted before, the DKIM TXT record is there (and still is), you need to check if the value you entered matches that given by Google.

Can you show a screenshot of that page?

These have been merged now.

@carelana1 -

I would also suggest that you share a such screenshot (and all other relevant information).

Is it only Google’s email page that says that it cannot be verified?

Have you actually tested sending an email to someone external from Google, and seeing what the result is there?

If you’re looking for something like that, it’s more like a consultancy service you’re seeking.

That said, what’s wrong with letting the Cloudflare Community try to help you?

The TXT record info in Cloudflare matches what Google provided. It’s Google’s page that says the DKIM cannot be verified. See screenshot:

The TXT record you have in your DNS does not match what’s in that screenshot. Try deleting the record and copy-pasting it again.

Thank you. It appears this time worked. The Authentication started and Google states that it may take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to fully propagate.
