After DNS recrod created for DKIM at Cloudflare and checked via online tool the existance, did you went back to the cPanel screen, and wait for the notification about DKIM enabled for your domain.
I remember, cPanel sometimes doesn’t activate DKIM at all and it’s not a until it scans and figures it out on the “external DNS provider” (Cloudflare) that it’s existing one, until them it’s displayed
If it’s recognized and correct, you’d get a blue notification at the top right corner of the cPanel saying that DKIM is enabled and active, therefore on the domain list under the “Email Deliverability” you’d have near your domain name.
any advice is appreciated. I have tried to fix this issue for a while now and just can’t seem to figure out why it wont sign even though it shows valid
cPanel needs some time to generate your private key to sign any further emails sending out from after it configures this in the background or even after the email service (Postfix, Dovecot, Exim …) are restarted.
In the meantime, I’d also suggest you to try and send a test email and see the results over the MailTester service at the link from below:
im still getting the same error… whenever there’s a rejection, i go to cpanel track deliverability… i get this notification… dkim signature becomes inactive…
i read in some forum that its an ipv6 error caused while refreshing dkim signatures. its a timeout error from cloudflare… nobody has this problem?
by the way, this error occurs on all system generated emails. (cron jobs runnign on shared hosting)…
i keep getting the unathenticated domain from google… despite mxtoolbox reporting spf, dmarc and dkim are configurated properly.
Yes… dkim showing properly in cpanel.
But I keep getting that “inactive, despite correct configuration” error… whenever it’s inactive system emails are rejected.
It becomes active when I visit the email deliverability page on cpanel. It looks like it refreshes whenever I visit the page and not refreshing automatically.
still persists… i’ve tried reaching my hosting provider but they refused to help as long as the nameservers are pointing to cloudflare.
so community is my only option
