Different ip on PC and on mobile

Hi there,

Your system shows different ip from pc and mobile when connecting even same wifi.

This is test page using following code;

if (isset($_SERVER["HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP"])) {</b>

$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] = $_SERVER["HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP"];

}

echo $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];

When I display on PC, it shows:

2405:9800:ba13:75ab:381c:72f4:37f0:af36

When I display on mobile, it shows:

2405:9800:ba13:75ab:1590:2975:64b4:e650

Please fix this! Thanks.

There is nothing to fix, those devices have different IPv6 addresses. IPv6 is a vastly larger address space, so unlike IPv4 every device gets it’s own IP.

Then Cloudflare should have option to make it ipv4, if we dont use Cloudflare they are same IPs.

You can disable IPv6 via the API if you really wanted to… I have no idea why one would want to however as it slows performance for mobile devices and provides no benefit.
