We had a Client IP whitelist (ALLOW) rule in Tools for a CF domain. The Tools rule predated the arrival of Firewall Rules. Recently our client reported they had issues when editing content on a website and lost some of the controls in the editor. A check of DevTools console did not show anything being blocked and no errors. We then created a Firewall Rule for the same IP with ALLOW. Hey presto everything worked again. We checked our Firewall Rules to ensure there was nothing that could have been added that could have interfered with the function. Therefore what changed in the last month (it had been working) that meant the ALLOW rule in Tools no longer did the same job as an ALLOW rule for the same IP in Firewall Rules? The editor had not been updated in that time btw.
