Destination Address changed to Unverified without warning/notification

What is the name of the domain?

notApplicable.com

What is the issue you’re encountering

All of a sudden one of my Destination Addresses changed status from Verified to Unverified, which led to a lot of e-mails not being delivered. This Destination Address had worked just fine for months and I can’t understand why it changed to Unverified. There was no warning or notifcation, so it took a while to understand what the problem was (and to even understand that there was a deliverability issue…). So, why did it change status? Where can I find information about this? This makes me feel really uncomfortable not knowing wether I can trust this service or not if it all of a sudden just makes breaking changes in states for already verified stuff.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Re-verified the already once verified Destination Address.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Can’t reproduce, don’t know why it occured in the first place.

I think I might have identified what happened and a bug with it: In my Account I had two domains, and decided to decommission one of these. So I canceled the auto-renewal of the domain and then proceeded with deleting e-mail routing configuration for that domain.

I can in the Audit Logs see that e-mail routing was disabled on the entire account, not just that domain, which then lead to the other domains e-mail routing configuration not working and no e-mails being forwarded until a reverified the destianation address.
