Deprecated - Finding Deleted DNS Records

If you deleted your DNS records (for whatever reason) and now don’t know what the values should be, this tutorial may help you find them!

Log into Cloudflare and on the account home page (where you see your domains listed, click ‘Audit Log’

If you have more than one domain, you can use the domain filter to show only events relating to the domain in question

Find an entry (or entries) here that look like:

with the action ‘delete’ and the domain name in question on the right hand side.

Click this entry and you should see the ‘Old Value’ of what the DNS record was.
