Slowing down site speed with deprecated API

Put a piece of electrical tape on your monitor to cover up the warning. I do the same thing with my check oil loght. Works like a charm. It has zero impact on real world performance.

Scripts that are supposed to have (very) broad compatibility (e.g. to be working across many different browsers), will typically make such website checkers, like e.g the Pagespeed Insights you mention, warn about usage of such “deprecated” API’s.
