Some minutes ago, I was cleaning old DNS records, and I accidentally deleted the one used in production, instead of the one I really wanted to delete.
It would be a good addition to add a simple “Delete protection” feature to records, similarly to what AWS allows with many of its resources. That way, you could never delete a record with this “delete protection” active, and you should deactivate this lock before being able to delete it.
This feature would have avoided me from entering today into the Hall of Shame!
