What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

My active email address has changed, so I set up a user on my main account with the new email. I’m going to lose access to the main account email in a month, so I wanted to change the email on that account to the new one. But I can’t because the user exists.

When I go to delete the additional user it says I can’t use the email to create a new account. So the question is, can I use the deleted email address as a replacement address on an existing account?

If the email address / account was deleted you’ll need to wait a year to reuse the email address. You can add a domain using another email address. Cloudflare will purge your personal information within a year of a deletion request unless required to retain it for legal obligations (such as ongoing abuse investigations or pending litigation). I’m not asking if I can use the deprecated email to open a new account, I’m asking if I can change the email address on an existing account to the deprecated email address.
