I tried to add the following CNAME - www - but forgot to shut off proxy so went back to deleted and readd. I deleted but each time I try to readd it says the CNAME record already exists. But it doesn’t, since I deleted it, and it’s not in my list. Now I can’t complete the website connection… can someone help me fix this?
In your second to last screenshot, I can see that you already have a CNAME record named www - you can’t have more than one, so you’d need to delete that record before you can create the new CNAME.
