Delegate sub-zone for separate management

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to delegate specific sub-domain and have separate API keys for managing it?
For example I moved my first level domain to CF full setup (basic Free plan for the time being), and trying to see if it’s possible to have separate zone for sub-domain of it.

E.g. I can delegate subdomain to be managed outside of cloudflare by creating corresponding NS entries, but I can’t figure out a way to have it still managed by cloudflare.

This sounds contradictory.

If your goal is to limit API Key access to that subdomain, I’m not aware of any way to do this, short of an Enterprise Plan. :money_mouth_face:

Yes, basically it’s about having separate API key for sub-domain.
With normal DNS setup, it’s possible to delegate the subdomain to someone, but Cloudflare seems very insitent on controlling top level domain.
E.g. when trying to “add site”, it allows you to add top-level domain e.g. “mydomain.co.uk”, but won’t let adding sub-domain “sub.mydomain.co.uk”.
