It has been about a week since I updated the DNS records for one of my domains, and it is still not propagated worldwide. As a result, I’m unable to verify the domain ownership with another service. I am using Porkbun as my registrar. Are there any suggestions to expedite the process? Your help would be greatly appreciated, as I urgently need the records to be updated.
Welcome to the Cloudflare Community.
We can offer more specific answers if you share the domain name. In the meantime this Community Tutorial covers common reasons you may want to check.
DNS replication on Cloudflare typically occurs in under 30 seconds. There are no reported outages. Without additional details I’d suggest that perhaps your target service expects the value in place as a result, but you have the domain proxied, obfuscating the target. Change the record from to
. Absent that, you’ll need to provide specifics regarding the record in question for assistance from the community.
The domain is pixelverse.lol, im setting it up for a friends minecraft server and they wanted to release it last week, the record that isn’t updating is a txt record.
The domain is pixelverse.lol, im setting it up for a friends minecraft server and they wanted to release it last week, the record that isn’t updating is a txt record. And the Cloudflare proxy is not enabled as it is only a txt record.
The zone appears to have (invalid) DNSSEC set at the registrar. Those entries need to be removed at the registrar.
Okay, I saw those and went ahead and deleted them now. I’ll check and see if the dns records finish propagating in a few hours. Thanks for your help!
Update: Records already updated.
