Defence Against IPv6 Bad Actors

Normally I run on only IPv4 and am seeing a recent spike in suspicious IPv6 traffic, likely part of a bot net. A single IPv4 is relatively easy to track and deal with since it has value whereas IPv6 are generally handed out by the thousands and have virtually no value.

Any suggestions on how to deal with IPv6, disabling it would be ideal, but obviously not an option.

If you want to disable IPv6, you might be able to use a firewall rule

It was accepted but I haven’t tested it.

Thanks, I will give it a try.
