getting 2030 resource not found on /devices/policy but can list /devices/policies

What is the issue or error you’re encountering

2030 resource not found on /devices/policy

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Deleted all policies, created new policies using the API, i cannot create policy using the GUI.
I cannot set default policies, get default policies or update it.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I can create Policies but no default policy.
I can list all the policies i have multiple.
I cannot set an existing policy as default.

I can only create policies using API. the GUI always gives me an error due to missing default policies

From the GUI i get this error if i try to create any profile manually:
Error configuring your profile: Cannot set forbidden fields in the default profile.

From the GUI i get this if i try to set a default profile (right click)
Error updating profile: Error: resource not found
