Default Cache Behavior is very weird

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

Default Cache Behavior is very weird.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have question about Default Cache Behavior on cloudflare.

So, there are settings on cloudflare like for example “Single File Size” 100 MB, 200MB, 500MB and that’s all.
Then in Default Cache Behavior, the explanation is frustratingly reversed saying:
When Origin Cache Control is enabled on an Enterprise customer’s website, it indicates that Cloudflare should strictly respect Cache-Control directives received from the origin server. Free, Pro and Business customers have this feature enabled by default. For a list of directives and behaviors when Origin Cache-Control is enabled or disabled, refer to Cache-Control directives.

So what is it then? Does Cloudflare ban my files from uploading?? That makes me have a problem.

Not only that though, another question. IF it does ban them will they be uploaded from main server or will files only be ever uploaeded from Cloudflare no matter the original settigns?

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

I don’t know

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I didn’t make Cloudflare.

Your question is unclear to me. Uploading files and Cache are not related in any way.

I know its unclear, I am sorry. I can’t speak like 5th grader, I am tired of doing it constantly.

When Origin Cache Control is enabled on an Enterprise customer’s website, it indicates that Cloudflare should strictly respect Cache-Control directives received from the origin server.

basically it says that the file size can be whatever is specified on the original server and it should follow the rules unconditionally.

But then it offers this marketing stunt

No, it does not. Cache and uploading files are still not related.

you didn’t answer my question. you just said you don’t understand it.

Yes, because your question makes no sense.

Cache is something that applies to downloads only, not to uploads.

Don’t worry bro, you still have Quora to go to.
