is it possible clouflare sometimes has a hard time stopping DDoS Attack ?

my site is not accessibles since a few days now
I have enabled the “under attack mode”, yet site it not opening…still 503 message
I have even blocked with waf, some countries like USA…yet I still see everyday some requests from USA

My cpu usage on cpanel is always at 100% (everything was working fine last week…)

Any idea on how to solve my issue ?

FYI : I am using free plan for now on cloudflare (since I am a really small site)

Does the 503 error still hapenning? Your issue might be related to this incident.

I am indeed still getting 503 service Unavailable
Is has been almost a whole week now

"Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

my cpu is still at 100%
cpanel stats
Physical Memory Usage
1.5 GB / 1.5 GB (100%)
SPEED USAGE 100%

is it because i use the free version of cloudflare ?

I don’t mind completetly blocking some countries like USA, Russia, etc.
but even that, does not seem to be working…
