I am unable to log into my dashboard via Safari on macos. However - it works ‘if’ I use a private session or if I use a different browser. Is there perhaps a cookie setting or passkey mismatch or something that I’m missing ? The private Safari or not-private Chrome sessions work fine via my yubikeys for 2FA if that helps any.

I can’t resolve it. That’s why I am ‘asking’ here.

It seems like this may potentially be a local issue. Can you try the following steps and let us know if they solve your issue.

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies. See how to do that here.
  2. Clear your DNS cache. See how to do that here.
  3. Ensure that your browsers are up-to-date. See how to do that here
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Try requesting from a different network.
  6. Try from a different computer.
  7. Try Purging [URL In Question]. See how to do that here.

I cannot explain why it was not working, as there are no logs I am aware of nor a way to instrument the login process. FWIW - the problem is magically resolved.

I had deleted the passkey and cleared any cookies from any Cloudflare site, but that did not fix the problem. Also stopped Safari and opened a new session which still failed the same way.

The next day the problem did not exist. I cannot explain it.
