Spotted a website I am trying to access looks like a has DNS replication issues - cycliq[dot]com
I found a working address using a global DNS checker and got in using host entries (also sent a message to the company via facebook)
The DNS global propagation checkers, these are showing the A & SOA is only on a few servers.
When I found a SOA it shows as
daisy.ns.cloudflare.com. dns.cloudflare.com. 2031986368 10000 2400 604800 3600
Any ideas, why DNS selectively replicating?
Changes to DNS servers can always take some time. Sometimes up to 48 hours or more. In any case, your domain appears to be properly configured, so at this point you can only wait.
Its not my web site, I’m just a user - but support DNS at work, so always useful to find issues like this to learn from…
Replication is now starting, on the global checkers the SOA majority is cloudfare, but a few entries are
ns1.he.net hostmaster.he.net 2019091125 86400 7200 3600000 86400
I have always thought the serial was a date, but in the cloudfare entry this is in the year 2031
Any ideas what might of happened?
Just a good old propagation issue.
