Customer with IronPort has issue sending email to our domain with non-deliverable report: DNS Soft Error looking up MX asking recursive_nameserver1.parent

Something with non RFC compliant response and cookies. Basically one of our customers that uses ironport and when sending email to us they get the non-deliverable report: DNS Soft Error looking up MX asking recursive_nameserver1.parent

Only started after moving dns to cloudflare. no issue previously in godaddy.

If you continue to have issues, you should check your MX record to verify it’s correct. Cloudflare, however, does not handle email, so it’s unlikely that the issue is directly Cloudflare related. If the record is correct & the problems continue, I’d connect with cisco to see if past solutions for IronPort may help in this instance.
