Custom purge never works on a single urls

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Purge Everything works- but what’s the point of that when I just want to purge single urls?

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. change something
  2. purge a single url after changing the content
  3. observe that content doesn’t change
  4. then try purging Everything
  5. then content does change as expected

No error message. The annoying thing is that it gives a green success message

…and no, it is not my browser cache that is the issue. Just to reiterate, when I select “purge everything”, only then the the page cache purges as expected
