Custom domain isn't updated on new deploy (while default domain is)

I struggle to understand why my custom domain doesn’t refresh on new deployment while the default domain does.

Default domain: minlist - an infinite notepad that feels like paper (minlist-xyz.pages.dev)
Custom domain: minlist - an infinite notepad that feels like paper

Anything I should do?
