Custom Domain for Cloudflare Pages Not Working

Hi, I recently added a custom domain https://ficcabs.com/ to Cloudflare Pages.

Unfortunately, the page doesn’t work when loaded in a browser. I get the old Namecheap domain parking page or an error from Cloudflare.

I have already tried purging the DNS. DNS lookups show that the custom DNS servers are properly set up by the domain register. However, the CNAME I configured doesn’t show up.

The strange thing is that if I turn on the Cloudflare VPN (WARP). The https://ficcabs.com/ domain works as expected.

How do I resolve this issue? It has been like this for close to 10 hours even development mode doesn’t solve the issue.

Hi there. Have you tried using a different web browser (or a private one) if your site loads without WARP? It could be a web browser cache that tries to load the older site pointing to Namecheap. If so, clearing your browser cache should do the trick.

Domain propagations can generally take 24-72 hours. If you have recently updated name servers to CF, it probably needs more time. :slight_smile:

The pages page ficcabs.pages.dev works fine. However, my domain, https://ficcabs.com/ isn’t working

I have tried incognito, diffrent browsers and the issue persists.

Works fine for me, without using the WARP (only 1.1.1.1 DNS servers on my local PC Network Adapter) both links your pages sub-domain and custom domain serving the same content:

Could be temporary due to the DNS changes.

Thanks @fritex. How long does this usually take? it has been very many hours.

I really don’t want people to have to switch DNS servers just to access the site.

Since using WARP works for you and @fritex and I were able to access your site normally, the specific ISP you’re using may be taking a longer time to resolve new DNSes so it is only a matter of time. I’d say give yourself 24-72 hours of waiting time on the safe side.
