This is most likely because you have proxy on the www CNAME, and on the oqpor4xmob4m verification CNAME.
Gray clouding /dns-only the record should allow them to verify the CNAME Exists
You may be able to switch it back to proxy / orange clouded after the verification succeeds, depending on if they re-check the record or not. I would always keep oqpor4xmob4m gray-clouded though, as it seems to be the one they are using for Domain Validation, and proxying would break that.
