Support of mailgun say: "The error we’re seeing here is usually due to the host of the Wordpress site not able to resolve one of our hostnames, api.mailgun.net , api.eu.mailgun.net , smtp.mailgun.org , smtp.eu.mailgun.org .
Would it be possible to perform a manual DNS query from your server to confirm the DNS resolver can obtain the public IPs for these hostnames? For reference, you may use a public DNS query tool like ‘What’s My DNS’ to check the IPs are correct. "

That is an issue on your server, not of Cloudflare. You need to check why your server cant resolve that hostname but that is unrelated to Cloudflare.

Well, support didnt mention Cloudfare either and they couldnt tell in the first place anyhow.
The issue is with your resolver on your server and not Cloudflare. You might want to ask at Stackexchange.
