Creating multiple CAA Records for globalsign.com

I’m trying to create two CAA Records for globalsign.com, but I get an error when creating the second one.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I need to create these two CAA Records:

Type CAA domain:@ TTL: auto, TAG=issue value=globalsign.com
Type CAA domain:@ TTL: auto, TAG=issuewild value=globalsign.com

I get this error whenever I try to create the second record: “An identical record already exists.” (even with the different tags)

The naming is a bit confusing, but you need to select the Tag from the Tag menu.

“Tags” at the bottom is something that helps you find DNS records, it’s not actually part of the DNS record itself.

Thank you Laudian, I never would have guessed that! So now I got it, “specific hostnames” generates the “issue”… and the “wildcard” generates the “issuewild.”

I already see the results, thank you!
