Hi,
I tried redirecting a subdomain using a CNAME for example:
the ‘test’ subdomain redirects to apples.com/oranges
However, it will not allow me to redirect the test subdomain to the domain page. It only allows you to redirect to ‘apples.com ’.
Can someone explain how to fix this?
Try something like this:
This tutorial covers redirecting www.example.com to example.com when using Cloudflare, to do the opposite, please see Redirect example.com to www.example.com .
You should replace all instances of example.com in the screenshots with your domain.
Step 1, The DNS Record:
The first thing you will need is a DNS record for www, set to . This can point to any IP address as the redirection page rule will execute first. I would recommend pointing it to 192.0.2.1, a dummy IP.

Step 2, …
Www is technically a sub domain, so have it forward to the full URL you want.

I’m not sure if I clarified properly.
I have the domain forwarded elsewhere already, however I want a subdomain such as: “sub.domain.com ” to redirect to “apples.com/oranges ”. A subdomain redirecting to a specific web page rather than another domain.
I am trying and I don’t see why a CNAME would not allow this.
Or do you know of a way I could make it so I can direct:
example.com/APPLES to apples.com/oranges
