Create proxied DNS record for subdomain to allow a page redirect rule to work

I am trying to create a proxied DNS record to allow a page redirect rule to work.
What I am trying to achieve: subdomain.xyz.com is redirected to sharepoint.com/sites/subdomain
I can create the page redirect rule fine, just can’t create the proxied DNS rule that makes it to work.

May I ask what error do you get, if so? :thinking:
Is there already some existing A or CNAME record for that subdomain?

Previously on some older subdomains I created a DNS record using 1.1.1.1 as the IP and that worked.
It won’t let me do that anymore - reserved IP address. So what do I use for the IP address to get the direct to work?

Sorry, a little frustrated. No there is no existing Cname or A record

You can use 192.0.2.1.
