What’s the HTTP response code that is sent in case of trying to create an existing DNS record (subdomain)?
By the way, is there any list of available error response codes for that API?
I would suggest you simply try it 
The UI returns a 400 however. Also, creating a record with an existing name is not always a problem. It is mostly CNAMEs which cant have more than one record.
