How do you upload content of a sub domain?
I have tried creating a separate project called app.sonnet-software.dev which works.
However going to app.sonnet-software.co.uk
https://app.sonnet-software.co.uk/ does not work
https://app-sonnet-software.pages.dev/ does work
Did you add app.sonnet-software.co.uk a custom domain to the new Pages Project?
There’s a CNAME entry where the name is app. The content was [sonnet-software.pages.dev. This worked but just rendered the content of the parent domain; I want different content.
I created app.sonnet-software.pages.dev and changed the CNAME to point to this but this doesn’t work.
The custom domain app.sonnet-software.co.uk is just stuck with message “verifying”. This is probably the problem.
What should the content of a CNAME entry of a sub domain point to? How do you upload content to the sub domain?
You should delete the CNAME and follow the procedure that @cherryjimbo linked in his post. It will create the record automatically.
Just cancel the current process and start again.

The custom domain works fine. It’s the sub domain that doesn’t work.

It wasn’t obvious to me that you created a separate subdomain pages.dev and added the sub domain to this project.
Adding the sub domain to the parent domain pages.dev project was the issue.
