Could not add subdomain into Cloudflare

I am trying to add a domain https://test-cloudflare.infa123b.east.mydomain.com to Cloudflare. The portal prompts me with “Please ensure you are providing the root domain and not any subdomains (e.g., https://example.com, not https://subdomain.example.com)”.

But my colleague running with the Cloudflare enterprise account could add this subdomain without getting any error. Could anyone explain this? Thanks.

A feature to add a sub-domain without adding a root domain requires at least a Business account:
