I recently added my website to Cloudflare to use the DNS and more features but the email in Gmail is not working anymore. I still being able to use it at Roundcube so is not a server thing. But when I try to reconnect to Gmail app it says “Couldn’t open connection to server”. I already tried to change the A mail record to DNS Only option and more… Also added my DNS table to have a look if anyone can help. Thank you so much in advance!

Changed A mail record to DNS Only

Check your Gmail client setup and ensure you’re using an UNproxied hostname (eg mail.pandasetup.com) for your incoming and outgoing mail servers, and not the proxied apex domain pandasetup.com.

Already tried using mail.pandasetup.com too in the gmail setup but I got the same error message

The hostname mail.pandasetup.com is not proxied: it’s resolving to the IP address 78.47.134.xx. If this is the IP you configured in your Cloudflare DNS page, then Cloudflare is doing its job: the rest is up to your email provider at the other end of the puzzle.

If you want further insight from the Cloudflare community here, please share a screenshot of the full error you’re seeing while configuring the account in Gmail.

Other than that, contact your email service provider for assistance.
