Connectivity Issues with mellowstudio.mx - Request for Assistance

Dear Cloudflare Support Team,

I am writing to report a connectivity issue impacting our domain mellowstudio.mx, which is hosted under your services. We have conducted several network diagnostics tests that suggest potential problems with routing, Cloudflare configuration, or IPv6 connectivity, which are affecting the accessibility of our site. For clarity, bunkerstudio.mx was used as a reference to illustrate that a similar setup works as expected, thereby isolating the issue to mellowstudio.mx.

Summary of the Issue:

  • Traceroute Tests: Attempts to trace the route to mellowstudio.mx result in multiple timeouts starting from hop 3 onwards, with no successful hops beyond hop 4. This suggests a possible routing or network congestion issue preventing packets from reaching the destination. It’s notable that mellowstudio.mx is served by multiple IP addresses, indicating it’s behind a load balancer or CDN network.

  • Curl Tests: Attempts to connect to mellowstudio.mx using both IPv4 and IPv6 (with commands curl -v mellowstudio.mx and curl -6 -v mellowstudio.mx) did not complete, suggesting issues with the site’s accessibility over both protocols. In contrast, tests to another domain hosted on Cloudflare (bunkerstudio.mx) successfully redirected from HTTP to HTTPS, indicating proper server configuration for secure connections.

Request for Assistance:

Given these findings, we suspect there may be issues related to Cloudflare’s configuration for mellowstudio.mx, particularly regarding IPv6 settings, CDN configuration, or potential geo-blocking rules. We kindly request your assistance in investigating the following:

  1. IPv6 Connectivity: Are there any known issues or misconfigurations with IPv6 settings for mellowstudio.mx that could explain the lack of connectivity?
  2. Routing or CDN Configuration: Could there be any misconfigurations or issues within Cloudflare’s network or settings specifically affecting mellowstudio.mx?
  3. Firewall or Security Settings: Are there any firewall rules or security settings that might be inadvertently blocking or throttling traffic to mellowstudio.mx?

We are eager to resolve this issue promptly and would greatly appreciate any insights, diagnostics, or recommendations your team can provide. Please let us know if you require any further information or diagnostic results to assist in your investigation.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Best regards,
